The Edge 93SGA Super Nails by Jewkes Engineering are one of the new line of Edge axles that are revolutionizing Pinewood Derby yet again. Made for the 2009 National Champion cars, the axles are CNC'd from a superior grade stainless steel and are wicked straight, hard and superior to any other axle even before polishing. The entire Edge axle line uses the same axle hole drilled with a #43 drill bit to make any car be able to run all the different types of wheels without modification! The tips of the axle are cut with the same style as the BSA axle and after polished become the ultimate BSA Pinewood Derby axle upgrade. The Edge axle line now brings you a true high performance axle to equip any style of Pinewood Derby car made. The 93SGA axle measures at .093 where the wheel rides on the axle to reduce the slop of the wheel and ensure a more stable Pinewood Derby car but reduces down to .091 where it enters the body. This axle is perfect for the larger bore wheels like the old style black BSA wheels and Awana wheels. The Edge groove is cut to maximize number of graphite runs and also is engineered to be the superior axle when using oil lubes.
